MELISSA RUMMEL is Project Manager for The Nichols Partnership.
Melissa found her path to real estate development in 2008 by way of real estate brokerage, urban planning and a love for infill placemaking. Melissa joined Nichols Partnership as a Project Manager in 2013, bringing public and private experience across all facets of development and urban planning. Prior to joining Nichols Partnership, Melissa worked in development at the Denver Housing Authority where she focused on mixed-income development projects and pioneered the adaptive reuse of an historic Horse Barn warehouse into shared office space for non-profits and entrepreneurs.
Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from University of Colorado in Denver and a dual-Bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Affairs from the University of Colorado in Boulder. As a very active community member, Melissa sits on the Sloans Lake Design Advisory Board and the Union Station Advocates Board. She is a LEED AP and has maintained an active real estate brokerage license for the past ten years. When not exploring cities or engaging in community development projects, you’ll find her on her mountain bike or skiing the backcountry.
